Spin was the second collaboration I have completed with Sue Shepherd. The work was commissioned by Cambridge International Arts for the Tour de France, which rode through Cambridge on the 7th July 2014.
Spin has also been exhibited for an exhibition about user experience as part of the UX conference at Churchill College, University of Cambridge. September 2014.

The neon is controlled so that ’spoke’ design looks like it is spinning. The longer the viewer looks at the piece, the more it becomes hypnotic.
Video work created from spin was exhibited in King's College Chapel, Cambridge as part of Memories and Dreams: the cabinet of curiosities. An event for the 500th anniversary of the Chapel in 2015. Photos courtesy of Josh Murfitt.
